Two-Stroke Brushcutter

Brushcutter Would Not Idle Reliably

A common two-stroke issue: starts, revs, then dies at idle. A fuel and tuning service brought this brushcutter back.

The Problem

The brushcutter would start, then stall whenever the throttle was released.

What We Did

  • Inspected the fuel lines and primer
  • Cleaned and adjusted the carburettor
  • Checked air filter and spark plug
  • Inspected head and guard condition
  • Completed warm idle and throttle response testing

The Outcome

The machine returned to stable idle and clean acceleration, making it much easier to use around edges and fence lines.
